Reading
Leadership is not only found in famous people. It can be found in parents, grandparents, teachers, coaches, volunteers, neighbors, older students, and friends who do the right thing with care.
In this session, each student chooses a hero and explains what that person teaches. The hero can be from Indian heritage, American history, family life, science, service, arts, or the local community.
This final topic helps children connect stories to real life. The goal is to notice leadership around us and practice honoring people who inspire us.
